Lenten Mission

Be All That You Can Be!

At session 4 of our Lenten Mission, the topic was Becoming the You that God Created. During that session our speaker, Tracy Welliver, talked about the value of knowing what your strengths are. He talked about a tool - the Clifton StrengthsFinder. Following the Mission, many people approached staff members and indicated that they would like to find out how to take the StrengthsFinder.

You can take the assessment online at the GALLUP Strengths Center - just  CLICK HERE. The cost is $15 and it takes about 45 minutes to complete. You will receive a report outlining your top 5 strengths. You will also be able to download the StrengthsFinder 2.0 e-book. StrengthsFinder identifies what you naturally do best and names your unique talents. It shows you how you're special and how to succeed by turning your talents into strengths.

I took this the other day and I was amazed at the results! If you take this, and you would like to talk about your results, please give me a call at 978-320-4212 or email me at DebbieR@LWCatholic.org

Mission Accomplished!
OR Mission Accomplished?

Both, actually. The recent Collaborative Lenten Mission was amazing in so many ways. The presenter, Tracy Earl Welliver, helped us all come to a new understanding and appreciation for what stewardship really is. Another thing that was amazing was how many people worked together to not only make the Mission happen - but to ensure that everyone felt welcomed. And it was awesome to see so many people in attendance. So, yes, Mission Accomplished!

Mission Accomplished? It's never "accomplished". It's about how we choose to live our lives each and every day. It's about true Stewardship. Not a plan to follow, not a program and not a series of events. It's more than time, talent and treasure. It's about us choosing to give our entire selves to God. As Tracy Welliver said at the Mission - it's about EVERYTHING!

A big thank you to all of those who helped with the mission - from planning, publicity, set-up & clean-up, food preparation & serving, parking lot duty, technology, photography, music, greeters, hospitality, book sales & more! There were over 70 people involved in making this event happen.

Thank you for Living Your Faith & Sharing Your Blessings!!!
